Catie joined our staff in February 2009 with an incredible work ethic.
Catie’s desire to help animals and decrease their suffering led her to inquire about a position with the Ellwood Animal Hospital, and she plays a key role on our support team, working in all three offices.
Catie’s duties include assisting the veterinarians in treatments of hospitalized patients, performing laboratory diagnostics, radiology, and assisting with post-op recovery of surgical patients.
She has worked diligently to advance her career and taken on many duties through her advanced studies. Catie is trained in processing patient samples for Regenerative medicine, Stem Cell Therapy and Platelet Rich Plasma, and operating the CT scanner at our Cranberry office. She also operates our Ozone therapy equipment and assists with physical therapy treatments and acupuncture cases, and can often be found working closely with clients at the front desk.
Catie is dedicated to her family and enjoys spending time with her kids (she’s the soccer mom, cheer mom, baseball mom, basketball mom and whatever activities her kids sign up for) and in human Mom to her pet, dog , Max, a Rottweiler/Shepherd mix. She enjoys the outdoors and is continually reading and learning.
